We come from the music community

Our founder Jake fronts the two-time Grammy-nominated metal band August Burns Red. He’d stay late after every show to talk to fans, and saw how people in every city and country struggled with their mental health. They told him his band’s music helped them cope.

Jake knew the potential to help was bigger than his band, so he founded HeartSupport to offer mental health support for music communities around the world.

We help music fans struggling in their mental health

Today, HeartSupport is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that trains volunteers to provide peer support to other fans struggling with their mental health.
